Read the story of Peter and Kia, who are about to go on their “trip of a life time”: They have travelled to over 60 countries between them – Peter to nearly 50 and Kia to nearly 30 – taking in mountains, deserts and oceans along the way.
Now they begin ‘their trip of a life time’ an ambitious journey across the Pacific. Traversing an ocean that covers nearly half the Earth’s surface is a new challenge for both. Once they arrive in South America Peter and Kia will explore the continent overland taking in some of the most breathtaking scenery imaginable, all the while on the lookout for somewhere to settle, start a new life and call home.
Peter and Kia invite you all to keep up to date with their travels at atlasandboots.com and on Twitter. Both also decided to use their preparation time to brush up their language skills – Peter wants to work on his conversational confidence in Spanish and French, and Kia is eager to improve her grammar and vocabulary before hitting terra firma in Chile.
Peter and Kia will send us updates on their language journey on our #milestones blog, too. So stay tuned;)
