Falling in love with a world of language

We’ve had some fun asking people we know to record some love phrases in their own language or accent, just in time for Valentine’s Day!

We’ve also learnt a few facts about some of our favourite cities, for example, ‘Did you know that there are enough restaurants in New York for someone to go out for dinner every night for 54 years and never eat at the same place twice!’ or that “There are over 2,000 romantic fountains in Rome”.

So, have a look at how you can say “You look lovely tonight.” in Spanish, or “Do you have a map, I’m lost in your eyes.” in French!  And find out what “Hat es wehgetan als du vom Himmel gefallen bist?” means in German.

Find out more about love around the world!
