In today’s global marketplace graduates select employers based on opportunities to learn and develop. As we work in an increasingly interconnected global economy it has never been more important for companies to invest in the development of their workforce to conduct better business and secure future growth. Huge global organisations such as Royal Dutch Shell have recognised this need to track and train employees to remain competitive and enable its workforce to continue to fuel the success of the organisation.
Language has played a critical role in this development for a number of organisations to improve competency levels across the globe using our online learning solution in initiatives that would have been hugely complicated and expensive to operate within the classroom. It is here that we can see the full effect language training can have on championing health and safety standards, particularly in the manufacturing and oil and gas industries. This is also essential for developing and the networks of organisations around the world from training employees themselves to supporting expatriates and their families. We must appreciate the expansive reach of language learning technology when adopted in the right environment, and the success that can be achieved from its creative application.
