The round-table event took place at the Haverstock School in London in occasion of the European Day of Languages. The participants shared their own experiences in language learning and agree: When engaging with language learning today and promoting cultural understanding among young people, this will have long-term impact. The cultural mindset among young people will change and will lay the ground for better employability when in the globalised job market later.

A huge thank you to #languages4schools ambassador Gary Lineker, Bernardette Holmes, Speak to the Future‘s Campaign Director, Keith Moffitt, Councillor of Camden, John Dowd, Head Teacher of the Haverstock School, James Rotimi, Accountancy student at Lambeth College and Donavan Whyte, VP EMEA Enterprise & Education at Rosetta Stone.

11 schools won 30 language-learning course licenses for their students for a whole year. In October the language licenses will be implemented. Soon you can read here about the adventures over 300 students on their language-learning journey in Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, London and Glasgow. Watch the #languages4schools video
