Innovative Rosetta Stone Homeschool Solution Launches Latin

Home Educators Can Enhance Classical Studies with Latin Now Available in Rosetta Stone® Homeschool Version 3

Rosetta Stone Inc. (NYSE:RST), a leading provider of technology-based language-learning solutions, announced today that the company has introduced Latin for Rosetta Stone® Homeschool Version 3, allowing students to unlock their natural language-learning ability. Home Educators will now be able to learn Latin the same way they learned their first language – with no translation.

Rosetta Stone Homeschool curriculum provides students with a rich, interactive and engaging language-learning experience. With the introduction of Classical Latin, parents can effectively incorporate language learning into their child’s studies of Ancient Rome, prepare for SAT and ACT vocabulary testing, and even establish a foundation for further education in the legal and medical fields. The scalability and flexibility of the Rosetta Stone Homeschool solution also allows parents to assign lessons based on students’ individual needs, allowing for students at all levels to learn a language.

Rosetta Stone Homeschool Version 3 is composed of three levels and helps learners develop listening, reading, speaking and writing skills easily and systematically from the very beginning. Filipino (Tagalog), Latin, Turkish and Vietnamese will also be available to home educators. Rosetta Stone Homeschool Version 3 is now available in 25 languages including: Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Dutch, English (British), English (American), Filipino (Tagalog), French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Persian (Farsi), Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish (Latin America), Spanish (Spain), Swedish, Turkish and Vietnamese.

In addition to the new languages, English and Spanish (Latin America) are now available in Levels 4 and 5 of Rosetta Stone Homeschool Version 3. The new levels include extended, more complex conversations and grammar, expanded vocabulary, and additional opportunities for speaking that prepare students for everyday interactions in their language of study.
