- Hebrew is written and read from right to left.
- The Hebrew vowels are denoted by a series of dots and lines placed underneath, above or inside the consonant characters. With the exception of religious texts, poetry, and children’s books, vowels are generally excluded from the written Hebrew language.
- A number of words sound similar despite being spelled differently. This is due to Hebrew spelling following historical standards, signifying differences no longer in place. Through experience and practice, Rosetta Stone will teach you these words.
- The form of a Hebrew verb will alter based on the gender of the subject.
- In Hebrew, an adjective can have its own article.
